With the origin of the princess line dress beginning in the 1870’s with designer Charles Worth, it is named after her royal highness Princess Alexandra, giving Grace a rather regal connection. One of the first type of non-corseted fitted bodices, it was considered rather risqué at the time, but nowadays is adored by vintage style dress lovers from around the world.
